MODFISH

The Modern Fish 5 fin is a perfect blend of my past 43 years of board building and fin design. Combining the best of my fish and shortboard designs to create the most high performance "Fish " design I have ever developed. These boards feature my 5 fin set up, complete with custom designed fiberglass fins developed specifically for these boards.

The Modfish starts off loose at the low end and increases drive at a rapid rate as the wave power increases, allowing the design to perform across a wide range of wave sizes and conditions. A Quiver killer. The narrower nose, wide point moved back and wingless tail template allow this "Fish" to drive off the tail like the best shortboard designs and plane across flat sections like a "Fish".

The Low entry rocker increases paddling speed while the nose kick won’t hang up your performance maneuvers. The flat bottom combined with a foiled tucked edge from nose to tail creates the maximum planing surface at all times - one pump and your gone! Just one ride and you will understand why it has five fins!
